The boogie that be...
It's been a while since this site has gotten any attention from me so I guess I will give it some today. Summer is nearing the end and I must say I have gotten the chance to experience a lot of different things so far. Since the last entry, I've been to the KDPhi convention in Los Angeles, California hosted by the ladies of Kappa chapter at UC Irvine, gone to Virginia Beach a couple of times, and been clubbing in DC for the first time at Kapitol Explosion held by them lovely UVA KDPhis  . Through it all I have gotten the opportunity to meet a lot of great people and expand my national network.
I am so glad I was able to do all of these events considering I was also juggling school work and classes as well. Summer schools wasn't bad at all. All my classes went by faster than I though they would. Accounting, Macroeconomics, and Organizational Behavior sound thrilling don't they? Lol. My grades: B, B and A! Hooray for moi! So happy  .
VCU aKDPhi held our first election and I must say it was very successful. We have a wonderful Exec Board and I know they'll steer us in the right direction  . As for myself, I was elected as Historian and Rush Co-Chair. I'm so excited for the school year to come!
What's to come as for the rest of summer? Well, four of out fourteen of my pledge sisters birthdays are in August... oh goodness! Happy Birthday to my favorite August babies!!

August is going to be an eventful month, adding to my already wonderful summer schedule. I am still planning to go to Kings Dominion on the 12th with my pledge sisters and our fabulous mommy. Hopefully I can make a trip to NYC the weekend before classes, if not, then another time during the semester. First day of Fall semester will be on August 24th, get ready to Meet the Greeks y'all! |
